Illegal immigrant truck driver; What?

Unemployment seems to be taken in higher regard than working the fry cooker at Mickey D's these days.




On a side note, why doesn't the US just tell these people on welfare that if they want their monthly cheque, they have to go to work building the wall? They're already paying that expense, may as well utilize them for something productive.

That's just it. Either dig ditches with a shovel, sweep streets with a broom, pickup garbage etc for a welfare cheque or go get a job. You're on welfare, its not like you have anything better to do.

 

Mexican cdl drivers, aka b-1, can drive in the US. There are a lot of companies that employ only b-1 drivers, which they pay less to, and that is how they are able to get cheap loads and still make a profit. That should also be changed

But doesn't Canada have a quota on Citizen employees? That so many jobs must be filled by citizens before non-citizens can be employed?

Far as I'm concerned, the family should be kept together. Regarding Chinatown's OP.
Send them all to Spain, in the same plane. The parents boke our laws, by being here illegally. Unfortunately the children have to suffer along with the parents.

Send them to jail for voilation of Federal Immagration law then deport them, they are both criminals taking up American jobs.

Yup, breaking the laws should have consequences, and that means a painful experience. Consequences should be meaningful and painful.

 

But we need to be compassionate, forgiving, welcoming, and doormats....
