Location for the night

I made it home about 7 this morning. The trip from Brookville took an extra couple hours with the snow but I was certainly in no rush to have my very own page in the trucking accidents forum. I debated staying put for a while but the reports I got over the squawk box around midnight said the road was good...shoulda known, that it was probably coming from a 70 mph slip and slider. Either way, it was a pretty nice night with no schedule to keep. Only trouble I really had was getting up the the on ramp to 80. Have a good weekend all.

 

I'll have to remember this. I've stopped at the truck stop at that exit before, but never at the Walmart.

 

That right there my friend, is tattoo-worthy.

 

I got a reward from schneider for busting my ### and getting within two hours of the drop yesterday!

It's a free Saturday! Only had to do two hours of driving to the drop and they're giving me a free unpaid rest of the day!!! Yay!!!

Well, turns out I lied. Got a load. From Lock Haven PA to Climax MI. Of course the appt to load isn't until tomorrow afternoon. And it's really awesome to see the weather forecast for that entire route.

Whatever. I'm gonna captain this ship right ... into something. Hopefully tomorrow's update isn't "Ditch in OH for the night"
