Careful there, you don't want to give the impression you are bragging about a gravy job.

 

I don't mind you peeing on my shoe nearly as much as I mind you peeing on my shoe and telling me it's raining.

 

THis is hardly the place i would go for advice... just wanted to see what all the crying was about. Between Jeff Like and Steve and Dre... got all the really helpful advice i would need.

 

You go ahead and do what you want don't come on here and four or five months from now it start whining we warned you... We're simply stating especially since this IPO came down late last summer it is gotten exponentially bad... and by the way they're putting a lot of these high-dollar loads on now paying $400 pick up today delivered tomorrow that's only a couple hundred miles away... You going to find out that they watch what you do and they will change up your loads or take those loads away... and if you want to average a dollar fifty a mile you're going to have to run for a loaded rate closer to a $1.80 a mile on the low end cuz you're going to have to figure your deadhead in...

 

@PolishPrince ... I got give me an example the Dallas Market which is generally a fairly good Market... Since I run that area like cuz I live down in Houston prior to 1 year ago you could look up a two-day. And find 300 plus loads within a hundred-mile radius since then you've been lucky to find maybe a hundred if you're lucky... That's the kind of crap we're talking about yes they lost some Freight but good Lord they lost that much... That's why I'm taking my truck elsewhere I got a business to run and I'm not running for breaking even

 

@PolishPrince ... now I don't know how long you plan on getting the truck for one year or 3 years?.... If you are planning on going into business for the long term then if you're going to go ahead and come over here you could check it out and my advice to you is if you see the downward spiral that we're warning you about take your truck elsewhere to an all owner operator company...

 

Guess we will find out. Im still months away from making my final decision... thanks for all the input.. and i do mean that.
