10,000Iles a month is easy but to get 10k miles paid at sni you'll run 12 to 14k total.so 1.50 cpm becomes 1.20ish or less per mile.
Dave_in_AZ and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
I hit it and tried to swap accounts within the company, 1 week after my 6 month requirement to change accounts. I was on Family Dollar account and when i told them i didnt want to be on that account anymore, and when I talked to another Schnieder account, the Family dollar account hit me with 4 preventables and a abandoning load in about 2 hours time. They said i could stay on the FD account or go to a hearing to change accounts. Lmao i told them piss off. Now i drive local and make more money and am home every day. I might have to drive 5 hours a day. Dont listen to the BS from the industry sheep, follow your heart and it will all be good. I was off work for a total of 9 days. They tried to wreck my dac report but the real world people i work for now saw right through it. Been driving for 11 years and only 1 preventable until i tried to leave Schnieder. Their integrity is all they preach yet they have none. I wasnt going to be the first to say anything because i had always respected them and looked forward to working for them one day. The old saying that when someone keeps telling you they are honest is probably a liar, this is true for Schnieder and integrity. Now the curtain is slowly being opened....milehunter43, scythe08 and TennMan Thank this.

My dbl told me to log at least a 30 min pre trip so if i needed to edit at the end of the day to get to my final destination that i would have 25 min from there. Oh and to make sure i got to my next day delivery the night before and sleep in family dollar lot so that i didnt have to come on duty until after i unloaded there in the morning to save me 3 hours a day. All of which are perfectly legal right ????

First off if you were truly offended by my admittedly lame joke, I appologize. However the next time I offend you, please refrain from calling me an ###. That way you maintain the moral high ground and the mods don't get itchy ban fingers. Also could you explain the history that makes the stereotype so offensive? While I've got a good overview of Eastern European history there is a lot of details that could be filled in.
Sam Adam's Brewery has the F Off rule - you can tell anyone to F off, but after you do you have to clearly explain why you're pissed. I think that would be informative here.
The problem as I see it is if you gross 1.50 per mile, all miles, with 1.00 per mile expenses (all expenses save taxes and health ins and all miles) your pretax net is .50 cpm. Also known as less than company driver pay once you figure self-employment taxes and health insurance into the picture.
So your risk is high while the reward is minimal. That's a bad investment in my opinion.
I don't know what your experience in the industry is but I'd suggest some time as a company driver to learn the ups and downs, ins and outs.Friday, PolishPrince, Bo Hunt and 6 others Thank this. -
Actually, "Native American Indians" came across the Bering Strait 10's of thousands of years ago...so they migrated as well.91B20H8, gentleroger and SingingWolf Thank this.

And across the Pacific. I remember a kid in grade school asking how the Hawaiian got to Hawaii if it were impossible to sail there before Magellan.

I took that load to Hawaii
