Can anyone add to this list of trucking companies where the driver has very little or infrequent contact with dispatch? No live human interaction or having to hear their voices? Thanks

Gilster Mary-Lee. Just call in Friday for your weekend run and call backhaul when you're empty. Only talk to people when calling for loads. Other than that you don't have to talk to anyone unless there's an issue

I'm at Veriha now and I mostly communicate through the Rand computer. Actual phone calls are rare and my DM prefers to just use messaging instead of fielding tons of calls from drivers.
I've wondered if there are similar deals for Yard Switcher jobs. Can you just receive the trailer numbers or dock numbers over a computer or those Talzon scanners Walmart uses? There is a weird quirk with my hearing or something; I can have a really hard time understanding what people say over CBs, Walky-Talkies, or Intercoms.Ralph4159 Thanks this. -
Conway truckload now XPO I had little to no contact with dispatch. Everything was done through QCOM
