I'm looking for some advice about whether or not to get into hauling freight. I own (3) six wheeler dump trucks that were leased to a construction company and now that company went belly up.
I am stuck with $5500/mo payments. There is little work if any around here right now.
I know a salesman at Kenworth that will probably help me do a trade for a tractor truck that I could haul freight with. I know it doesn't pay much ( about .90/mi). Right now though I have to do somthing, I am upside down on two of them about $10K ea and right side up by about $10K on the third- what are your suggestions? I have them listed for sale/hire but not getting many calls...
What 2 do?

Read more on here, 0.90 is not worth driving for, will not pay the bills of the truck less alone your pay unless the company you lease to pays lot of the operating cost (permits, Insurance and such).
But reading though this site you can get some good answers. -
I did live in Chicago. Call Jack Gray they are a Dump Truck Company. I did make a lot of money when working for them.

Thanks, I will give them a call
