Evening,
I did do a forum search and didn't find the awnser I was looking for. Forgive me if I overlooked something that may have been answered before. On their website it says they require "Minimum of one (1) year verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months OR 6 months of continuos tractor-trailer experience and have graduated a certified tractor-trailer driving school." I know @Chinatown has told me before certain companies will hire outside of that requirement. I'm wondering if anyone can provide any insight. I have found nothing negative about this company and I would like to give them a shot, without having to go do 7 more months with a bottom feeder. Thanks

Im currently with raven, been here for a year and 6 months. As long as you have 6 months experience and have a "diploma" from a certified truck driving school, then you will be eligible for the apprentice program. 10 to 14 days with a driver mentor to show you the ropes if you have 6 months. If you have 1 year of verifiable experience then you can jump into a truck solo without going through the apprentice program.FireFighter_02 Thanks this.

For what it's worth myself also now my codriver just left Raven... won't bad mouth them. I'll just say this. I was there just a little over a year. I did everything you were suppose to do (set my PTA's) , on time every time, did anything asked of me without complaint, and kept a positive attitude...The entire 52 weeks of 2016 my avg. Miles a week were under 2200 miles 2165 to be exact on a 52 week avg. Good people, ok equipment. But that don't pay the bills. I had to move on. Then when they told me I would lose 3 cpm if I stayed on 7 day Dispatch that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Good luck I know myself , my now codriver, another driver we know is leaving in a couple weeks, 2 other drivers I talked to the last week I was there have found other opportunities. And several others have left in the last several months. I wish you well.FireFighter_02 Thanks this.

I have 5 months so they probably won't call me?

I talked to Andrew who is the recruiter and he said its a minimum of 6 months. But....if your record is clear and good then i would go ahead and put an app in just incase they make an acception.
If you want, give Andrew a call and talk to him and ask as many questions as you want. He is a good guy and can tell you anything you want to know about the company.
Just call 904 880 1515 (Ravens main line) and ask the operator for Andrew. -
Thanks man I called the other day and left a message I'm recruiting since no one awnsered. I applied Monday morning and haven't heard from anyone my record is clear no tickets, never even had a dot inspection
-
If you want to, PM me your name and i can talk to Andrew monday morning and see if we can work something out.
Or if you just want to hang tight where your at for a month, we can go from there. Its up to you, but i will help you with what ever you need. Just let me know. -
I have a good friend that's been with Raven 3 years. He is very happy. Gets his 3000 miles every week. He's actually got me considering Raven.
