Here ya go, man... the humility this man is being put thru is by the grace of God it happened sooner and not later. No bashing on his thread....... best of luck to ya. Read my last post there. Sometimes, esp with the economy in a quandry etc etc etc... its better to BE a man, instead of trying to prove ones'self. Best of luck to ya, sincerely.Shock Therapy Thanks this. -
I'm in the same process ... looking seious at Landstar ...
I'm planning on a $0-$800 month truck payment ... probably will land somewhere in between ...local bank requires I buy truck from in our state of AZ ... 3-5% interest depending on final credit score (I was 719 last year when I got their bank visa) 720 or better will be the 3% ...
Where do you want to run?
What do you want to haul? -
I gonna pull van and run Midwest and all South but I been talking to Landstar also filled the application out it's processing I'm probably going to also look into Mercer I good things about them also I'm going to keep looking at more trucks hope to get a better payment

How much money do you have in the bank? Not asking for personal info, but if you can't afford your own authority, how can you afford to replace 18 tires? Inframe? etc etc etc? I'm not being a Debbie Downer by any means, but there's more investment than you think. I've stayed "company" for my 20 years on the road, and drive "sweet Petes" that my boss owns; very small fleet. The headaches are his on the money side, yet I treat his equipment as my own. I'm not willing to mortgage my paid-for home on 12 acres to venture, but then again.... i'm old and settled, LoL.
Best wishes, no matter how you roll. Speaking of roll, make sure you got a bank one. Seriously.
