We aren't trying to argue or knock you. But we all have been doing this quite awhile a lot have been a lot longer then me. But the numbers you toss out make no sense. What are you doing for your 66%? Bottom line I guess will fade away and you'll take over with your "new ways". No offense and good luck.

So you already have a guy making good money at 34%
But yet tell @bowhunter67 to read on you changed it?
Sorry I think your double talking2CAN, Hurst and bowhunter67 Thank this. -
Actually you are all over the board with different %. I wouldn't do it power only for less than 75%.Hurst Thanks this.
-
Let me get this straight.
To move your freight that you described as highly competitive (a.k.a cheap) that you don't have so you are going to have to come up with a cut throat rate and
You think the operator and the piece of equipment that has the most operating cost of the equipment needed to move this freight is only worth 1/3.
WowRuthless and bowhunter67 Thank this. -
he wants to book loads from loadboard and sell it to O/O.
Let look $1/mile 1000 miles trip
His part of the job is ONE CALL THAT ALL 15 min phone call, rate mailing - $660
O/O two days driving, chaining, counting, temp checking etc - $ 340
No. You can't deny this load!!!!!!!!!!mudflap77, Hurst and bowhunter67 Thank this. -
And that 75% would be based on at least $2.00 a mile.
Snailexpress Thanks this. -
This post is effing funny
Snailexpress and bowhunter67 Thank this. -
No sir,.. I think it is you who miss understands us. We are O/O's. We own our equipment. We know what its costs to go from point A to point B. We dont need anyone to hold our hand or micro-manage our business. We put on our pants just like you. One leg at a time. To come here and tell us what we already know about our expenses and rates in this industry is playing a snake oil salemans game.
This is our equipment and we are doing 100% of the labor and not to mention we see the customer face to face. So it is our face they put a name and reputation on. Our service and reputation is what has gotten us to where we are. You offer nothing of value here.
HurstMattflat362, Snailexpress, sawmill and 5 others Thank this. -
Tell ya what, I'll make ya a deal, you give me $1.50 per odometer mile my truck runs with a minimum guarantee of 2500 miles in 5 or less days a week, you pay all fuel, maintenance, And every expense, I then will lease on and not refuse any loads.
I'm being generous here.... how does this sound??Snailexpress and bowhunter67 Thank this. -
I did a double take when this guy said 34% to his o/o. It can't be real. Typo? But now here it is 2 dozen posts later the conversation is still going and this guy is for real? Comon now. This is ridiculous. Obvious troll.
blairandgretchen, 2CAN, Hurst and 2 others Thank this.
