New Line Transport / Cemex

New Line Transport is a Big SCAM. This company misclassifies all drivers as owner operators, when in reality you are a company driver, with no say in pay, loads and no independence, like a real owner operator. they make unauthorized deductions from your pay without your knowledge. This company is listed under a fictitious name as New Line transport, but it is really Cemex. All managers and supervisors are Cemex employees. They have you sign an illegal contract and cause the driver all kinds of financial hardships. This is the transport division of Cemex. This company is bad news and is in the process of being exposed

 

The contract states that the driver is a independent contractor, but that's not true. The driver is an employee of the company and the company control's everything the driver does, the driver can only work for the company and no one else, the driver cannot use the truck unless it's in direct business with or for the company. The driver cannot have a rider in the truck unless approved by the company, they pay you what they want to pay you and the driver has no say in the matter, they lease you a truck, that they don't own themselves, they are leasing the trucks from another party and charging the driver 250.00 a week at 12 percent interest. Illegal might be the wrong word for their contract, but it sure is a big fruad, SCAM. Read what happened in the case with the FedEx drivers case. This company is doing the same thing by misclassifing it's drivers and having them under a fraudulent contract. The FedEx drivers won a class action suit for 280 million.
