It's a written test, not multiple choice.
I appreciate everyone suggesting to lower the average speed to 50-55 to allow more of a cushion. That makes sense to me as a general rule. But for the purpose of this test they want me to use 60. What I'll probably do is work around it by counting on 10 hours of driving a day to cushion it that way.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
You are almost never, ever going to be able to drive up to the 11 hour mark exactly anyway. You have to have somewhere to park. There is not a truck stop or pickle park every mile.Lepton1 and SingingWolf Thank this.

What they should be teaching you is to trip plan for the real world. Chances are if you get out of school you will first be working for a mega with trucks governed at 62mph. While it is possible to average 60mph in a 62mph truck, it is unlikely. If you count on averaging 60mph and don't account for things such as loading, security checks, fueling, mt searches, scaling, load reworks, DOT scales, pre-trips, post-trips, piss breaks, traffic, weather, and everything else that happens in the real world, your apt. to make bad choices in load selection and several service failures.

Once you figure about how many miles a day you can make (less across the hilly parts, more across the flaty parts) you now need to go back over the route, figuring about what time you'll be hitting major metro areas.
