Going to orientation next month for Panther, can anyone tell me what to expect at orientation? Sleep apnea screen? Overall experience? Thanks!

If you are solo driver your pay is feast or famine. Really no feast there. Expect negative settlements, low miles, long wait time. Team guys with straight trucks get the best loads. Leftovers garbage floats down a pipe to solo operators. I have been on the road since the beginning of December and I tell I have to call them all them time for my next load. I have to recover from my negative settlement status then get some money and leave for a different company.

How do you have negative settlements? You have payments or something? Expedite has been a piss poor segment for a couple of years now. Most of these big expedite companies have taken the cream off the top flat rating their operators just like mega general freight companies anyways. So sitting around for hours or days waiting on their big score makes even less sense.

My truck note and the rest of fixed expences are about $1060 per week. If we add fuel and subtract from amount I made during those weeks it comes out negative due to not enough miles. Remember we don't make any money when we sit around. I have been sitting around in waiting for my next load since 02/06/2017 11:15. My next load is in about 6 hours and 20 minutes.

That piles up like a snow ball. All their expedite loads are pretty much less than 800 - 900 miles at $1.40. The only times I can recover from negative spiral if I use backhauls through other logistic companies. I have to find something what pays over $1200 just to get ahead.

I am taking everything they give me but here is a problem. They don't have good worthy loads. All long hauls get passed on teams with straight trucks ( what you call them ). Meanwhile garbage floats down to us solo with 53'.
What do you think about Interstate ?
You are right I got my truck from Quality.
