Home (well hotel) for 5 days. Been out 2 months, and am sooooooooo done.
Had a 4 hours unload yesterday in the rain and snow. It was a mine, so it took and hour to even get to where I needed to be, then another half hour of clearing the location of snow and going over procedures

And then dealing with a frozen valve......

Ran out of hours on my way home and could have cared less. I'm wasn't about to stop 10 miles from my Terminal.

$8000 more to pay off and I'm debt free.
    Homeless, but debt free.
I see where fate takes me after that.
Nor sure what my plans are.

Loves in Tifton GA. This place is a zoo and/or a racetrack. Trucks whipping in here way too fast.

Kenton. I would've made it to Marion to drop the roll load I had and back to base before the snow hit butttt I got to spend an hour and a half fixing multiple issues on the trailer I picked up in IL this morning. Thanks for post tripping, Jeff Something.

I had to shovel about 5 inches of snow out of the empty i picked up at the customer in Marion. The wind was cranking and the snow was all the way up to the halfway mark on the trailer. Umm, we haul paper and most product is clamp loaded on the floor. Why the F do you leave the doors open on empties? Then it was another hour and a half to do the 30 miles from Marion to here.

    scythe08 and Friday Thank this.

Breaux Bridge ,LA pilot. Managed to grab an easy spot that was a straight back. Deliver in morning 2k lb of foam coolers then to reserve for pm.

    I hate day time PM's.

Home for a few days. Last 8 days were rough, but it made for the biggest week I've ever had. Next week, just out and back, God willing.

back in the good life city.........the illegals came in at 0730 this morning to put on a new roof from all the tornadoes, petulance, flying flaming frogs, and whatnot........wrapped it up by 1330, no joke. These guys work 10 times harder than most folks.......it's amazing to watch.
    It's been a good run......

Home for the night pretty much just to clear the driveway. Got a 2 stopper tomorrow that I'm definitely not going to want to leave the house for. Hopefully home again tomorrow night but who knows.

Working for a small company called L.W. Miller Diversified in their Tanker outfit.
My dispatcher 'forgot' that I requested home time. Just like I'm sure he 'forgot' to tell the shop about all the work the truck needs, so now I have to go in on my home time and make sure the shop actually does something, if they do something.

I've wanted to quit since day one, but I dont want to job hop again until I'm debt free and have a few months reserve built up. I'm going to be leaving utah and moving somewhere else, just sure yet. I found a chemical company in florida that has its own fleet and it's all local work. It's in a small town east of Tampa. I also wouldn't mind just working the plant.

But I've seen alot of places I wouldn't mind living. So not sure what I'm going to do.
