Is it true that Swift does not allow inverters in company trucks? If so, do I just charge my laptop and phone from cigarette lighter socket? Will be all I need for at least 1 year (as I get my wings) and move to another company.
No inverters allowed in Swift company trucks???

I wouldn't know but I think they mean those big inverters that power the microwave.CSDixon Thanks this.

They don't want you watching tv while you drive. You guys have enough hard luck just trying to keep the truck on concrete.
MachoCyclone, RedRover, Thull and 7 others Thank this. -
Laptop and phone is all you'll need to find another company
RedRover, Short Fuse EOD, Osiris and 7 others Thank this. -
You can buy a lil inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter at any truckstop for like $25-$30 and is plenty for charging laptop. I have no idea of swifts rules but this will work fine for you.CSDixon Thanks this.

That's all I ever used and Wal-Mart has those inverters,a couple different styles.I would trust them first over truck stop junk.

Do they work well in your Uber car, to heat your water bong?

They work absolutely fabulous!!!!!TGUNKEL and Pnwtrucker Thank this.

No wonder @pattyj is so happy!
TGUNKEL, KillingTime and pattyj Thank this. -
And for crying out loud, if you do sneak an inverter in the truck, hide the dang thing while at the terminal. All we need to read about on here is I drove for Swift and I got fired for violating company policy (inverter in the truck). Can anybody recommend a company? Calling for Chinatown lol
RedRover, Toomanybikes, thekidsixer and 4 others Thank this.
