I guess its a supersuperdoublesuper secret and you have to know the supersecret handshake and password. Way to go Eric come on here selling a mic and then only tell a select few about adjustments that can be made.
Mic comparisons, recorded the right way.

Yeah I guess it is a trade secret.
I would like to see a schematic so I can modify one to eliminate the battery. I don't like the idea of having anyone open a mic up to replace the battery when you don't need to.Diesel Dave, rabbiporkchop and Crazyrider Thank this. -
I don't think it's a secret I'm sure if Eric would see this he would let everyone know. I have the PDF file picture of adjustments just don't know if I can post it without permission. Email Palomar and ask to be sent a PDF of the mics adjustments I'm sure they'll get it to you.

Battery's no big deal if it last 2 yrs. Can't be any worst than the power mics.

I noticed on a vid i saw with the stryker 955 there was a base treble adjustment screw under the hood...Dont know if you need instruments to see the changes or not or if its done by ear..
I know mark says he tunes the flatness out of the sra 198's..rabbiporkchop and Crazyrider Thank this. -

I stopped at RadioShack to buy a mono to stereo adapter and they didn't have any of the workers show up because of the snow storm so then I went to Dollar Tree to browse through their audio connector section and lo and behold none of those workers showed up for work either..
I guess it's going to have to wait.QuietStorm Thanks this. -
What snow?
We only got 3 inches today.
I wish Eric would come up with a schematic. HINT.... -

Thanks! I didn't see this until I'd sent Eric a note asking for a copy. My SL41 & Stryker 447HPC2 should be here tomorrow.Crazyrider Thanks this. -
Just my experience I don't think you'll be disappointed in either one of these two. Did you have the person set the radio up so that the SWR meters turned on its accurate.
