I did 15 extra hours on the truck. Told them I am getting off, if you do not have a truck I will be at home and call me when you get one, if I have not got another job by then I will come to where the truck is. I got a truck 3 hours after getting off the trainer truck. If you let them push you they will and it will only continue as long as you put up with it.
is werner a good company?

Couple of things to remember. I worked for them in the past, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. They ARE forced dispatch and do go to NYC. Most of those loads come out of St. Louis. And of course, paperless logs. Though this may sound good, especially if you hate logbooks (like we all do). BUT, if you decide to leave Werner at a later time, well guess what, you may to know how to do one. When I was a CDL instructor, I would give this info as an FYI. Plus, if your a student, beware of Auto-Shifts as youir first truck. This WILL mess you up if you end up in a truck that is 10 or 13 speed. I like Auto-Shifts, but this is after some years of gear-jammin'.
