Towels and wash clothes can be a hassel.
They're bulky, sketch (truck stop), damp bacteria hives.

Was homeless for a while and did this in and out of shelter showers:

    1. Enter shower with boxer shorts.
    2. Hand wash shorts.
    3. Wash body with shorts.
    4. Rinse and ring shorts.
    5. Dry body with shorts.
    6. Ring, dry body, repeat.
    7. Final ring then apply shorts and clothes.
    8. Walk away (shorts dry in 10 minutes or so).

Bonus: Only packed 2 pair during this season of my life.

So you are saying you washed your undershorts in the shower, then used them as a towel, then put them back on wet, and got dressed and went about your day? Dude, I would have bought you a towel.

I only wear thong underwear which wouldn't be enough material to wash and dry myself. Thanks for tips though.

TA, Petro and most Love's give you 2 towels and a washcloth in the shower.
J and Pilot will provide 2 towels if you ask.

    Why all the fuss?
I am never so desperate that I have to use my underwear, and no one should be. There are better options.
And why does one need a cloth to wash ones body in the first place?
Some soap and my hands do just fine.

DoubleO7, scottlav46 and Boattlebot Thank this.
