    Hello,

About a month ago I purchased two LED bulbs and once installed they went into hyper-flash. After reading / researching I bought two load resisters, which are securely installed on the inside of the hood up against the tin, keeping it away from plastic, wires, etc...

However, there are three wires connected to the bulb socket, two are black and one is off yellow. I'm assuming one of the resister wires is spliced with the off yellow wire, however, don't know which black wire to splice the other resistor wire too.

I was going to EMI-MINI-MINE-MOE it, but didn't want to blow fuses, burn a computer out or worst burn the truck to the ground. LOL...;)

Does it matter which black wire or is there ONE specific black wire I need to look for. Thanks in advance.

    The Rookie.

I just bought a new flasher made for LED lights and plugged it in. No resistor needed.

Ok, put a digital voltmeter to the three wires to figure out which is which. An update on the colors: black, yellowish and brown. Black is constant voltage (running light), Yellow is blinker, and Brown is ground.

Hooked up the resister, there is no color difference on the resistor wires. I hooked one wire to the yellowish and the other to the brown wire - still have hyper flashing?

Any electricical advise, aside from flasher option seeing that I've already invested in the resistor route?

    thanks.
