we'll get this thing riding tight again. funny how shaky things can get when they come on slowly over time. those cobbled loose shock mounts i cinched down really cleaned up the ride. the new bushings should get rid of the last of the vibes.

I leave the spring on the truck and use my hydraulic track pin press to push them in and out.

Back when we were swapping out those garbage rubber spring pin bushings KW started throwing on their front axles, we made up a long bushing driver and set it up on a heavy jackstand. 20lb sledge made short work of that job. Boss said we knocked a good 4 hours or so off the dealer's time doing it that way.
wore out Thanks this. -
Helps to put the new bushings in the freezer to shrink them a bit to make install a little easier. If the new bushing is too loose in the spring eye, there is an oversized bushing that will go in as well.

it's installed. made a puller to install it. worked good. had to get creative with spacers tho.

just so you guys know what im up against...my mother in law moved in last year, and in september we began turning the garage into a living space. my truck wouldn't fit in it of course, but my tools,welder,60 gal V-twin compressor, all that stuff is off line and packed away. i'm kinda primitive here at the moment.
