This might sound a little crazy, and I might get yelled at, but why not ask around here and see who can recommend a reputable broker (I know, I know - they're few and far between) somewhere near you. Then, call the broker up and have them list your stuff as a LTL deal - maybe if you have the broker mention to anyone who calls about it that they'd be helping out a fellow trucker, you'll get a kind soul going your way who can help you out.
Off the top of my head, that is a roughly 1,100-1,200 mi trip though. Even if someone took your stuff for $1.00 per mile on a 'gratis' basis, you pay the brokerage fee for the O/O, and you pay the O/O in cash on the spot (you're going to have to entice someone to take a deal like this), you'll be looking at spending more than you would on renting a U-haul truck with a trailer to haul your personal vehicle behind it, just as 550hp said.
Might even be worth calling a moving company and pricing them out - you might do better for yourself.
Good luck in the future, no matter which way you get your stuff back west. -
Not knocking ya or anything, but you're new to me here. How many trucks have you owned? Not driven or knew someone that owned.. but had your name on the title.
-
2 trucks, first one for 2 yrs and the one I have now for about 11yrs...why do you ask?
-
Just wondering. Like I said you're new to me but I haven't been around for a bit either.

A uhaul is $2500 dollars plus fuel to haul it in a 26' truck from Orlando to Keller, Tx. This is why I am asking an owner operator. I would be willing to pay $.90-1.00 a mile to haul it. I would rather help an O/O then rent a uhaul anyways.

Can always post it on u-ship

I'll tell you my story then you decide on to buy a International.
I bought a 2007 international tractor, with a 18 spd cummins 475.
between May of 2007 and July 2008 I have been in and out of the shop.
I have 33 repair orders 52 problems.
In July 23 2008 my tractor burnt down, I had an investigation done they found a electrical problem that had started in the glove box.
The whole thing is I brought the truck to the dealer a week b4 because of engine light came on.
I was told stop worrying about the little things and drive the gd dmn thing, A week and half later up in smoke.
Now i have had a grinder and a loader repoed because I can't make payments on i'm about to go file bankrupt, I tried to call Navistar told them whats going on they tell me send paperwork, I did and they are still stalling, called bbb told me to seek legal action can't help me.
hope this helps -
I've never sued anyone in my life, but it sounds like you have a Case, not a John Deere. (bad old joke) Call a LAWYER.

I have been up last nght looking on the web sites about fires with International,
found quite a few.
Then i found a web site that states International recalls 51,000prostar trucks due to fire,
Go figure.
They have a number to call trying, still have to get the family organize to get in laws.
I just wanted to say thanks MarkVhl.
P.S I thought the joke was funny.
If you can't laugh at tought situations then your gonna grow old fast.
