Got a 2007 T600 Cat C15 Acert with the Smart Wheel.

Jake brakes have been working fine and they were working tonight when I came off of Monteagle Mountain but now they will not come on and work on any one of the 3 stages.

Everything else on my Smart Wheel is working fine.

I have cut the truck on and off made sure the clutch and brake switch was working correctly.

Anyone have any ideas and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you I did not know if it operated off of a fuse or not but we'll check out tomorrow.

If you have a test light check the wire going in to the head for power. No power fuse or switch if you have power could be the actuator gone bad

Is your speedometer working accurately? The Jake is connected to the speed control sensor in some trucks.

Why need a jake, slow and easy. Deliver your ld. Reld. When at the yard, have the shop look at it. Same applies if you are an O/O. We did it years ago, no engine brakes....

Make sure your clutch is all the way up. Also if your floor mat gets under the heel of the throttle pedal it may think you are giving it a little gas and won't come on either. Turn cruise on off after times to make sure not some flakey thing going on. Simple stuff first.

THANKS everyone found the problem. Checked Clutch, Brake and Accelerator Pedel and switches all good.

Opened Fuse Panel and found a fuse laying at the bottom loose. Took 15 minutes to find where it went and now jakes working again!

    Again THANKS EVERYONE!!
