Fueling Stops, I hate going to Pilot and Flying J

i was in a major construction zone. They had placed portable speed bumps. When I bounced over it the kingpin then bounced up and right out of the fifth wheel, due to worn parts.

I had a conference call with the boss and shop manager. The shop manager accused me of dropping the trailer and visiting a girlfriend. Then hooking up again improperly.

He claimed it could not have happened otherwise. A place outside Chicago rebuilt the fifth wheel with a kit. The original had close to a half million miles on it. The shop manager later apologized to me.

They had not been inspecting them with that long pole tool. I didn't see your above post. You know what I'm referring to. The hole around the kingpin just wears and gets larger.

Despite knowing I had hooked up properly, on the way to the shop I was doubting myself. Old timers on the radio schooled me after hearing the story.

 

I know exactly what you're talking about but I would venture a guess that 90% of the so-called techs that Sni employs would not have a clue

 

A 100gals doesn't count as two fifties for two shower credits.
Its 50gals minimum for a shower credit.
I don't know how company cards are set up but next time your putting in 100 or more shut the pump off at 50 reswipe your cards an finish fueling. You might have to add one mile to your mileage input. ie 256/257 for the transaction to go through the second time since its company card.

 

Once you put in 1000 gal in a month you get a shower every day anyhow.

Unless I'm coming out of the house I rarely worry about having enough shower credits.

 

It used to be that you had to wait 2hours before a second fueling could occur. Maybe it's changed.

Yes I know that but until you get SHOWER POWER this is a way you can build shower credits. Its what I do when I go home for more than 10 days towards the end of the month and I lose SHOWER POWER.

 

I go to Speedway, but then again I can get fuel almost anywhere except the turnpike travel plaza company has us locked out of those.
