It's all work conditions not just CPM. More miles at 2 cents less is better than a nickel raise & sitting.

Depends where ya live too. One mans garbage compensation package in one area is another mans dream job 1000 miles away. More or less.

What is it that you really want to do, friend? Now is the time to do it. It's more than money, it's what you want to do.

    Luck in battle.

Many drivers would sacrifice a little less money to have either more home time or more predictable/easy work like with something dedicated. If you already work somewhere decent often your increasing seniority will allow you better work where you're at. Seniority can't be bought but it CAN make your life easier.

You should demand $75,000 a year. Break it down however they want to. It isn't about miles, it is about your paycheck.

2 years and 3 mo I wouldn't settle for anything under 55cpm and 3 weeks paid vacation.

a non driving job & be home every nite. lmao. been looking & applying for months. nothing that is above 12 buks per hour. that wont cut it. hate the way drivers get treated in this industry. until april last year, i had great dispatcher. she left the company & downhill ever since. i stayed out 30 plus days at a time with her. now i hate even turning a mile.

You must pull van. Van drivers are the only ones that accept getting crapped on as a way of life or "paying dues."

Why not try for local LTL?
