Does anyone know if the computers are up and running in Fontana now? Wayne was told they went down. He is due to be dropped off Thursday to start his upgrade.

I'm going to the kid's soccer game tonight at Dicks Sporting Goods park, which is not far from the Henderson drop yard in Colorado. If any of you are going to be at the drop yard let me know and I'll stop by for a chat. Game is at 4:00 so I can stop by before or after.

 

Can anyone tell me what speed is their trucks governed at and where do they mostly run. Be safe

 

65 when I drove for them, but have read on here 62-63 now.

 

Well, Wayne upgraded and got assigned to a truck. He got a white volvo. The truck needed some things done so he is home for a few days for home time. So far, things are going good.

 

Thinking about doing school at central how are to Work for and what can I expect in salt lake

 

All i can say is..Take more money then they tell you to. They told Wayne $300 and it cost him about $150 more then that. Also, be prepared to get a horrible trainer. There are a few good trainers so ask around and find out who is good and who is bad. Wayne's first trainer was a nightmare. His second was a great guy. He will be going out on his first solo run Wednesday.

I have been following this thread as I have had some interest in joining the trucking industry. Last night I was driving to Ogden from Pocatello and followed 2 central trucks just to check their speed. My trucks speedo is pretty accurate and they both were traveling at 70 mph. At least their governors tend to err on the highside....
