Man I hope leasing works out for you

 

Ive looked all around meridian and I can't find a whole lot of local companies. Just one or two, apparently meridian sucks for trucking. Jackson has a lot of ltl, and also otr. Im seriously considering just staying otr because the local jobs dont pay worth a dang

 

Many of the good paying local hauling companies want experience, preferably OTR, it's part of paying your dues and earning your stripes.

 

I understand that just #### few around here

 

Believe me, I got my CDL in August and I have been looking for a trucking job since then. Some of these companies will say one thing and a brick wall comes up or they string me along and then decide they don't want to hire me. I spoke with my recruiter with KLLM and they said to make plans to check in at the hotel at their Chicago Heights location to begin my refresher on Monday.

I still am but looking at other options just in case

 

Hey champ 14 and velli did you guys train in Jackson

 

95% of that stuff your learning you could throw in the trash can its not till you get out on the highway and start learning the right way will you really get a proper understanding of what OTR is all about.
