I'm looking for a good mobile hotspot plan. I have Sprint Unlimited wifi (grandfathered) but my hotspot is dying a slow death. It works good some days, other days, it won't work at all. I called Sprint to upgrade the device and they told me that if I upgrade the device, I lose my unlimited service. I need to be able to have a strong wi-fi service because I'm going to start choosing my own loads soon. I haven't decided if I'm going Landstar or Mercer yet but I don't want to miss out on the loadboards because of crappy/no internet connections.

Any updates on a good unlimited plan?

 

That's how they get you. You used the word UPGRADE. All the plans will let to CHANGE the devise without changing the plan as long as you pay out of pocket for it and it's not faster

 

Get a cell phone. Unlimited everything.

Hotspots are expensive when a cell phone can do the same thing and so much more for a lot less money.

What's the price your paying now for that hotspot? you might even get 2 phones.

 

Agree. Look on ebay for a replacement hotspot then change the device.

 

You wanna make sure you get something capable of handling the newer signals

 

Verizon's unlimited is like 100 bucks a months and gives 10gb of mobile 4g hotspot. After 10 it goes down to 3G.

 

why would someone want to give up true Unlimited data for throttled data

The internet is for sissies, you don't need it.
