I am guessing it takes 20-25 days to get a home time approved?

I don't know if I would say that, but I think you have to stay on them about it. They initially had me on an Oklahoma friendly load, but I lost it to a repower when I went to the ER. There were a few times during my reminding them where I was told "were just so far behind right now trying to cover yesterday loads, etc". I tried to be patient and in all honesty, I didn't push too hard on it because I wanted to keep making money. I think I could have gotten home sooner had I been more stern on it or mentioned it more.

I'm still alive and kickin. Haven't been on here lately, but I ended up getting 5 days off during my home time with no complaints. Been back in the truck 2 weeks as of tonight. I dead headed from Clovis to Phoenix, ran a load from there to Dallas then one from Texas to Cedar City Utah and then 1 from Clovis to Hammond Louisiana. Everything still going good here for me. Over and out.

5 days at the house is nice. Well, it wasn't when I was married but it is now.

Sorry. I haven't been on here in awhile. I haven't had any trouble with home time. Been running loads from Texas to Louisiana and Texas to Cedar City Utah. Did a few of those, then California to Vegas then up to Prosser Washington. Washed in Prosser, loaded cranberry juice in Salem Oregon and am headed to Arcadia Florida with it now. I'm in Wyoming on I-80 waiting on the road to open. 11 trucks wrecked on Elk Mountain. Everything has been good on my end. IRT has been running me all over the country which is how I like to roll. This was my first time to Washington or Oregon. It sure is pretty country up there. I was happy to see Salem Oregon to Arcadia Florida as my load assignment.

All the trucks have a fridge. I think the 2017s also have factory 2000 watt inverters.

Seems like different stories with different drivers on the long-haul end of things here. Only complaints I've been hearing from the long haul guys is waiting on a tractor. Some of the loaders down here have a bad habit of slip-seating into whatever's empty in order to go out and get their dairies loaded before too much time has passed.
While the experience has been quite fair for me, I'm poking around for a line-haul or foodservice gig in another locale. The milk pickup thing is pretty much the same regardless of what company you're doing it for. It's the co-ops and the barns that make the schedule.
