Kinda like feeding stray cats. It's never enough and then they just keep multiplying.....Stop feeding them, they'll go away, and they'll have to work by catching mice & birds to feed themselves......

 

I'm in Kansas city at the flying j on i435. Last time I stayed here was over a year ago, I got hit up then by a black man claiming he was a retired air Force vet that was battling cancer and needed money to take a cab to get his cancer treatments. I have a soft spot for vets, so I gave him $10. Today parked in the exact same spot I did last time, back row, 3rd angled spot in from the street. I get hit up by the exact same guy, with the exact same story. This time I told him I didn't have any cash, which I didn't. I stopped carrying cash on me in the truck.

Do I feel sorry for him? Nope, because I figured if he's a retired air Force vet, then the VA will assist him in getting to his appointment.
