Was at Mount Isa two days ago, saw lots of trains with three and four trailers.
Here is just a small one across from Cocodile Dundees at McKinlay. IMG_0157.JPG

Did you hire a car? How long are you over here for? Where are you going? I just did a load of pipes from Melbourne to Mackay via Barcaldine. Don't forget to post lots of pics of your trip.

Landed at Brisbane on Feb 23. Taking off from Sydney on 18 March. Went to Stockhampton, over to Longreach, Mt Isa, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Adelaide, stayed last night at Port Elliot. Last nights campsite view:

Wow, there sure are some wild roads to drive on down here. Loads of fun. Some I couldn't get photos of as there was no room to stop.
    Along the Great Ocean Road.

Up top on the Great Alpine Road. Lots of turns under 30 kph (20 mph). Took almost an hour just to go 22 miles. 1,845 meters is just over 6,000 feet. IMG_0367.JPG IMG_0363.JPG
The RAAF Royal Australian Air Force Museum at Cooke Point. The worlds's oldest still operational air base.
The P51 is about a year away from flying again. It never saw combat, but was part of the original occupation force in Japan at the end of WW2. IMG_0328.JPG

Sounds like you're having fun. I flew in that P51 about 15 years ago! It had a 2nd seat where the radio used to be. It had a crash landing some years ago but I thought they already fixed it.
I'm on my way back to Melbourne after doing some loads of pipe to Mackay.
