We didn't call Central...They called us. I filled out a app online. They returned the call about 2 weeks later. They have email addresses for them. Look them up. Sarah answers really quickly. She is who we talked to.

 

My Dad says when the paperless logs come out hes coming home and un loading his truck... cant run near as good if they acutally know your running longer then were spossed to

 

The cards were probably from JB Hunt... lol everyone is on their list.

 

No, these are cards from Central. They are actually very nice. The outside is a cover that shows a convoy of our trucks and it says, "Things aren't the same" and you open it and it says, "Without you"

It is a nice card.

Now, I'm not so full of myself that I think I'm the only one getting these cards. (Just look at my screen name). I'm sure that Chrome and other drivers eligible for rehire will get them as well.

I just think it is noteworthy to see that they have gone from actively recruiting to not even returning phone calls. I think it shows that the industry is really slowing down.

 

Well, problems with the truck already. Wayne is on his way to Washington and the A/C has went out in the truck. He said it is hotter then hell. Are they required to fix the A/C? He said he can't keep driving this truck if it doesn't have it.

UPDATE:
Well, Wayne's truck is a pile of crap. He hasn't even went 100 miles and the truck is over heating and loses power on hills. He is trying to make it to a TA truck stop near there. He has now lost his first load and has to wait on them to fix the truck. He said he is gonna try to get them to give him a different one. Not a very good start to his career.

 

Oh no, not another problem company.
