The K&B that I work for has no time to even get a needed 34 hours reset let alone sitting all day. Ms. Patty with all due respect, do you really think K&B would be in business if they had their drivers sit all day and still pay them a minimum $1,125 guarantee to each of the 680 plus drivers? It's a no brainer

The miles isn t consistent.Do you actually think drivers would stay if KB paid by the mile?Bakari742 Thanks this.

If I got paid $1125 a week I wouldn't care if I sit everyday all day long. That would be easy money.
Bakari742, SoldierVan82 and radioshark Thank this. -
You two had a similar argument back about 100 pages or so.
Did you forget?Bakari742 and SoldierVan82 Thank this. -
Easy to settle. What is their turn over rate?
Bakari742 Thanks this. -
Well the fact a smaller company like them can't keep their trucks filled. Along with the fact that there is a ton of bad said about them raises a red flag. KB is a small carrier, and if they paid so well there probably wouldn't be a constant barrage of hiring ads. While many are lazy, there is a lot who would jump at the chance to make the money you talk about. And Facebook is no indicator, that's for their current employees. And about their guarantee, I asked and you have to work 7 days to get that.

You're a smart person.
KB is one of the more aggressive carriers starting with the recruiters no doubt about that. All the glamouring up they do in the ads especially FB has done nothing for their company but wake drivers up to know to apply elsewhere.Bakari742 Thanks this. -
Also there are strings attached to get that guarantee.KB can't keep drivers. My ex man works for KB only he's local but doing a lot more work for the OTR side because KB is SO short of drivers. He hates it there.Another ex local driver that's been with KB for years quit because of all the carp he had to do for little pay. He's a good friend with my ex boyfriend. Also KB use to require a yr now it's 6 months so what's that tell you.I've seen some of these 6 drivers which I have questioned there exp often.I can't even begin to tell you how many accidents and rollovers KB has had. I talked to my ex man a couple months ago and it sounds like KB has gotton much worse.

Of course we don't always get 3000 miles each week, and that could be because of your 70 hrs or maybe you did some live load/unload on that particular week. But if I'm not a little off, I would say over 80% of K&B drivers average 2750-2950 each week with occasional 3000 plus miles weeks. I don't know the actual statistics, but being with the company for couple years and talking to A LOT of our drivers, I've come to a conclusion that K&B is the right company for runners. And that's why many of those who can't run miles end up running from the company. K&B is a 'Run Hard Get Paid' kinda company. (Sorry Abe) lmao4mer trucker Thanks this.

Lol, that's exactly my point. Drivers are smart like Mr. Evomalo, everyone would run to K&B just to sit and get paid.Evomalo and 4mer trucker Thank this.
