In The South it's called "coke" even if it's Dr Pepper, Sprite, or some of the Communist beverages.

 

That depends what side of the country you live in.Here in Sioux City we call it pop.But you get in Huntsville they call it soda pop.I dated a guy from Alabama and I got in the habit of calling it soda.

I drank soda, pop, sodapop when I was a kid. Now my pop is called beer
