I understand why so many bums hang around truck stops now

I like to beat them to the punch and ask for $5.

 

About 9 months to a year ago, I was at a truck stop. I bought a homeless man his dinner, (4 grilled chicken sandwiches and a jug of spring water).
I also gave him $15.00. He said that he needed $12.00 for a taxicab and another $3.00 to tip the taxicab driver.
About 20 minutes later, I had to go back to the truck stop because I had forgotten something. The unemployed man was using the $15.00 that I had given him to play the slot machines.
As I exited the truck stop store, the unemployed man follows me outside, comes up to me, and ANGRILY tells me that I almost got him kicked off the property because I "raised my voice too high" when I gave him the money and wished him the absolute best of luck. I FLAT OUT TOLD HIM that I will NEVER help him out again!
I was bracing myself in case he wanted to get into a fight with me. TRUTHFULLY speaking, I am a VERY POOR FIGHTER, however, I was willing to scrap it out with him, if he were to throw the 1st. punch. By the GRACE OF GOD, I was able to pull it off. I TRULY and GENUINELY was quite angry myself, only because this guy threw my generosity back into my face, especially after he had asked for my help.

You think truck stops are bad, go try the local Greyhound station. You'll hear every sob story and see the sorriest looking sooks you've ever laid eyes on. It's like a circus.

 

That ain't no lie. I usually tell 'em "If I had any #### money, do you think I would be in this ####hole?"

I bet he has to be in protective custody for his own safety because peope that do things to kids have tough time in prison. As far as I'm concerned one of the guards can shoot him on the spot. I heard he might be eligible for parole in like 10 years or something. He got 2 5-Life charges I believe

Cleaned and edited post due to forum thread making a strange presentation to me on my computer. Posts were out of sorts. So it's easier to clear them away and try again after a good night's sleep.

I was thinking that when I retire in a few years I could become a truck stop bum. If you buy me lunch I won't tell your wife about that blonde that just climbed out of your sleeper. Oh wait...that's truck stop extortionist...wrong profession...my bad!
