It's the percentage of how much we're getting screwed by Schneider's "choice"

Some days Schneider chooses to keep 50% of the load revenue for themsevles, other days 80% and alikes while we're left picking up what scraps they leave us.48Packard, mxpx148, Friday and 1 other person Thank this. -
They think there doing a great job selling -
So they get pizza days, ping pong time yet Sni is too cheap to mail out our cab cards.
I didn't start this thread to stir up negative comments but with the crap sni is doing I see that's gonna be hard to avoid.Bo Hunt, mxpx148, ExOTR and 1 other person Thank this. -
They are doing a great job...... of selling us on a bs percentage program.

I'll explain my reasoning behind my question.
I've been tracking certain loads out of my area even when I'm not there.
Over the last 2 months some of these higher paying loads have been being picked up by company drivers and relayed in Knoxville.
The load then is offered on choice as a relay out of knoxville.
I know the original rate has been in the 2.04 range from the customer but once Sni relays it the rate drops into 1.40 range.
Why if we're supposed to get 65% of freight bill.
Rate per mile shouldn't change only loaded miles. ( knoxville is enroute to delivery).
So this load originally paid 2.04 for 467 miles. But after relay it pays 1.40 for 388 miles.
Why if we're on percentage?
It's because Schneider pays what a lane pays NOT the customer.
Any others notice this? -
well, here's what I think.....Schneider double brokers the stuff to themselves, and here's how it works:
467 x 204 = $952.67
467- 79 = 388 (miles)
therefore.......
388 x $2.04 = $791.52
$791.52 x .65 = $514.88
so,
388 mile x $1.40 = $543.20
the difference can be explained in the FSC........there ya go, and now you knowHighway_Executive Thanks this. -
Just look at what the average rate is on the lanes.
-
The 2.04 per mile was posted rate on loadboard to the truck fsc included.
I was told direct the rate changed because the freight lane did.
Therefore we're not being paid by percentage based on customer rate but lane rate.
Seems as if they know we can't do anything about it so they don't even try and hide it.
Lol -
it's supposed to be what SNI bills the customer........'least, that's what I was told. Never heard of "Lane Freight"
