I've heard rumblings of a class action but nothing official.
I'm just looking ahead to the new contract and wanting to have documentation if a class action comes to fruition.
I realize I have no bullets but I'm trying to get some in case.
I'm not going to roll over and take it quietly. -
If you request to see a BL, they can hide the shipper and receivers name. So you can't tell if it was double brokered.
So far, no reference to double brokering to themselves.Last edited: Mar 12, 2017

Like the ICs don't know who the customer is. This is to cover the brokerage. Ya think?
TennMan Thanks this. -
no. it's to keep entrepreneuring truck drivers from stealing their freightHighway_Executive Thanks this.

But you would already know who the shipper and receiver is because you ran the freight.
By hiding that info, you cant see if it was brokered and watered down.TennMan Thanks this. -
It's already known Schneider logistics sells loads to Schneider national.
We aren't getting 65%, we are getting paid whatever Schneider wants us to get to be paid.
They proof is out there and I'll offer one piece of damning evidence, click on these:

That came from this thread 5th page 3rd comment down

Summery
Customer rate $800
Schneider logistics gives the load to Schneider national for $507.08
Schneider Nationals offers it to choice for $378.38
Listed FSC within that amount is $138.06
$800 - $138.06 = $661.94 x 65% = $430.26 than add the FSC back on for a total of $568.32.
That $568.32 is what the load should have paid the IC but instead it paid $378.38.
Schneider in this case stole an extra $190 for themselves, that's a lot of money on an $800 load.
That turned the IC rate from $2.42 per mile down to $1.62
Schneider logistics makes up how much they want to steal extra for Schneider.
Heck if they wanted to keep 90% of a load they do that too! Where do u think those $0.30 per mile loads come from? The customer sure ain't getting a massive discount!Last edited: Mar 12, 2017
mxpx148 Thanks this. -
In reality, they are cheating and misrepresenting.
freightwipper Thanks this. -
If there is a case, we all know we are talking about many millions of dollars over the years. I'm sure there is a lawyer out there that would look at this twice.
