Who can blame them though, we as drivers just accept whatever they tell us then we're surprised to find out they lied......

As long as there's huge turnover they will have the upper hand times 10.

Its a percentage based sliding scale based on lanes. Go ahead and ask for freight bills all you want. They will always be right. It's a advantage when you can sell freight to yourself. The more I think about it the more disturbed I become. You guys are cracking the code just by talking about it.

I agree. But in reality we are working for brokers, SNI National is just the bridge between the two who micromanage us and skim off the top. It's a beautiful scheme. What makes point and click so attractive to us is also the same thing that makes it so attractive to them. No words spoken or questions asked is a good thing.

The shipper and reciever is not always the customer. In fact i wouldn't be surprised to find out if 50% of the time its a third party. It's rather common for one company to buy a commodity from another, then sell it to a third.

I'm speaking of trucking in general, not specific to the pumpkin.

As long as there are drivers dumb enough to sign up for a 82cpm lease with Stevens, there will be a line around the corner for Choice

Here's what I want to know. Do you guys think all loads go through sni logistics before we get them or just some? If it is just a few here and there ok. If it's all or even most we have a problem. I guess nobody knows. How would they? When they are dropping the rates on Frito my gloves come off. It's obvious what they are doing. Through in load board manipulation it's know wonder they want to keep any and all trucks they have signed on.

Load brokering between brokers goes on all the time. It's when they have a plate of lasagna and mixed vegetables together in the same company cafeteria is when you have a problem.

Years ago I was told Schneider logistics brokered all Schneider national loads.

Logistics had the customers National had the assets.

Schneider nationals only customer is logistics.
