But all these drivers noted in the OP make me look good.

"Back in the day" seems like I remember it being hard to find many "overweight" drivers. They were generally thin or medium build at worse. Maybe it was all the readily available speed and disregard for HOS rules and readily available loose leaf paper logs that kept many running 18+ hours a day and only stopping for maybe one full meal a day. They didn't take or make time to trash around in truck stops like many do today. Hell, truck stops were far and few between. That also may have had something to do with it.

Am I the only one who is tired of people blaming everything on either megas or owner ops? As far as I can tell, there are plenty of guilty drivers on both fronts. And don't forget the white Volvo crowd, there are plenty of heroes there too.

All the blame IMHO, falls on the drivers. No matter the company, or if they own the truck.

I was just stating that they (megas) will literally put anyone with a pulse in the seat.

Hehehe, that's my favorite part. Nothing I can do about the turd loving crowd and honestly, I just don't care. But what is nice is the fact that I generally get treated much better by everyone just because I'm not looking and smelling like a turd bag

No need to take pictures of dude urinating, fuel island has cameras, & that's sick. Try to politely Offer advice, am told mind your own mutha F@#'n biznaz by some homeless looking sweatpants, flip flop, wearing no showering stinky person who knows it all. Ya it's a lost cause. Are mega companies to blame, maybe. But I see this with almost all companies anymore. It's sad I think society in general is going downhill, not just twuck dwivas. All you can do is be a professional yourself and hopefully someone else will take notice and be inspired.

People are slobs.......even nicely dressed and clean people can be slobs in their homes, or cars, or trucks. I've seen suits well groomed etc but their cars are filthy and the inside is cluttered. Same with peoples homes. Nice looking outside, but a mess on the inside. (ask any bedbugger) . I attended a classy event the other day. All the people high society type people. But when I used the restroom on the way out, it was like a truck stop mess ! Depends on how you're raised, really.....

So...you looked at other drivers as scum then complained that you looked at other drivers as scum???? Sounds like a first world problem.

People are judged by the way they look and act. Can a judgement be wrong? Absolutely.

If it stinks like a pig, looks like a pig, and behaves like a pig...it's a pig.
