    Im wondering if the 7day is 7 calender days or 168 hours. I just drove into the 8th day at 2:00am and if its 7 days then i passed into the 8th, but if its based on hours i sill can write it in my log book. Im not sure but i believe its dumb if its based on days because if you start driving at 10 pm do you waste the entire day?

    Not sure why you think that wastes an entire day. 70 is 70 no matter how you get to it.

    Yes but in 7 days therefore if we go by 7 days from lets say 10pm is different then starting at 1 am the following day right?

    Ok so i started at 7 am on day 1 and i drove until 2am day 8 am i ok on the log book?

    The day resets at Midnight based on you home terminal.
    70 hours in 8 days.

    Say you are "On Duty" 14 hours total on day one. Day 2, 8 hours, Day 3, 8 hours, Day 4, 8 hours Day 5 10 hours Day 6 10 hours, Day 7 10 hours. You are now on your 8th day and have only 2 hours of "On Duty time." If you wait until 2000 hours on the 8th day to go on duty, you will run out of hours at the same moment your recover 14 hours from Day one. It is midnight when everything resets and the Schneider National trucks turn into Pumpkins. Just get home early Cinderella.

    Well, did you drive straight through the entire time? Probably not then.

    Add up all work time from day 1 till day 8. See if it's over 70. If it is, consider e log app lol.
