You can continue to drive as many days as you want so long as you don't exceed 70 hours on-duty/driving in a rolling 8-day calendar.

brian991219, tinytim and Bob.g Thank this.

Then you didn't exceed 70 hours in 8 days.

There is no limit to how many days you can work, just a limit to how many hours you can work in the days.

Work exactly 8.75 hours a day and you will never run out of hours.

Just passing by, Bob.g and not4hire Thank this.

Yes that is fine. On day 8 you would only have 2 hours of on duty time left. You could use those anytime during the day. But the point is on the 9th day you recover the 14 hours from day one. Always remember that the DOT is not your enemy when it comes to Log books. They are trying to keep the company from Scr ewing you over. We need time off or we go crazy.

K&B out of Sioux City had a real problem with logging. They would ask you to do all sorts of things that were against how the DOT wants you to log. They would call you 6 hours into a break and want you to "creep over" to place so they could start loading you. Sometimes, I would do it. But I never did it if I felt tired. The laws are to protect you and the public. Never put safety on the back burner.
