Truckstop problems

Yep build bigger and better truck stops especially in L.A

 

Ask the moron in the swift truck that lit a fire next to my fuel tank in Iowa a couple weeks ago lol

As I have said before, this is a monster created by the trucking industry itself. The industry has been shifting the costs of parking (terminals) to 3rd parties ( truck stops, Walmarts, customer facilities) for years. Billions of dollars over the years since deregulation have been saved by portions, mostly the truckload haulers.
The industry needs to solve the problem, by paying for what is now free. Anyone want to go into the paid secure parking business with me?

I certainly don't miss that place. Got to the point where I wouldn't bother sometimes and would just drive west all the way out to the TA in Tonopah lol

 

We need for the trucking industry to request more rest areas be built.

 

There needs to be a tariff placed on the mega's for more rest areas
