Yea Dye, He owns Central Transport. Used to be a union carrier.
He shut it down and opened Universal.. Then later he reopened Central non union. He owns or used to own Pam transport and various other trucking compaines

And that's the thing, Carl. You would always say, "My Grandfather worked for Ford (or Buick, or Chrysler) with pride. It was something to be proud of.

Yea, I was very proud of him, I wanted to get into tool and dye. He kept saying it's a dyeing trade. So I didn't. kinda in a way wish I did, but he knew best. I really think he wanted all his Grandkids not have to work a factory all their lives.. He worked 11 pm to 7am shift all the years at Ford. 35 years.. Started during the Depression
