It was a interesting day and a life changing day. I had one with me talking on the radio a while before there. It worked out. That time.

It's tough to know when you did wrong and tougher to acknowledge it. But that was a day to remember. I did need that lesson though. It was to where it was too much speed as if the mountains did not matter. (They sure did...)

I like to think my actions since then on mountains have been consistent. Up and down over and over carefully without the trouble I had that day.

More than that! I just had another white Volvo foreign hero yesterday... driving like a knucklehead on I-90 west of Chicago. Filthy rig all beat to ####. Had his bare foot up on the dash, picking at his toenails. Ugh.

I did see a black dude in a very colorful dress once. After catching up to him in the bathroom, I found out he was from Africa, so it was just his native attire, not really a dress (I don't know what they call it). I gotta hand it to the guy though, he must get a lot of crap every day.

    AW.

And here I have in my mind a sort of elite trucking professional. Large stanley mug, carton of smokes, stacks of snacks and a pile of call me messages overloading the qualcomm. lol.

You are right some things cannot be unseen. Which is why I am a little bit damaged myself. ugh.

When we get issued a truck we disinfect that with 10% bleach in addition to pinesol and lysol. Usually several rolls of shop towels etc. Everything gets covered. Latex gloves etc. You don't know where that truck has been or who was in it.

You will be pleased to know we turned in tractors just as clean in the past.

Once saw a FedEx contractor pulling a set of pups, running 60 mph in a 60 mph zone. Was the damnedest thing.

Quite an ironic statement coming from someone with the username you chose. :laughing-guffaw:
