Good choice. I just got my 447HPC2 temporarily mounted in the wife's Cherokee. Now I've got to figure out how to hide the power cable. I should run over to Walcott and have them do it. Checked the Lil' Wil with my AA-54 analyzer and it's too close to perfect to mess with.

You have to understand, rabbi has been to almost every CB shop in the country, and he ultimately only cares about one thing, how well his radios work.
And I don't have feedback issues with the Palomar on my 955.rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -

I wouldn't say that's totally accurate.
I'm here to put all technicians on notice that the bar has been lifted and to show you what the possibilities are if you choose Wisely.
If all I cared about was myself and if I didn't care about how your radios work I wouldn't even be on this forum sharing my experiences. I would keep my information to myself out of selfishness hoping that none of you discovered my secrets.
Here's a prime example of performance that I just take for granted that most people never imagined was even possible.
My friend Jason was coming up the Pennsylvania Turnpike at mile marker 95 when I turned on my Barefoot legal power radio in my driveway at elevation 541 feet.
He was about 30 miles away on the other side of a few mountains and he was having a conversation with someone on a base station on top of a mountain at elevation 1943 feet 15 miles from my house and I could barely hear the guy on top of the mountain but I could easily hear Jason 15 miles further east on the opposite side of the mountain in his Jeep Grand Cherokee at elevation 1329 feet. I find it comical that most people have never experienced this sort of performance and settle for much less. I'm just here to show you guys the possibilities and it's up to you guys to figure out what you want.

I too have been to almost every cb shop in the USA SINCE 1989 ALL MY RADIOS WORK AND GIVE ME EXCELLENT RESULTS... Understandable he wants the best performance out of his radios..as do I... you learn or don't learn who the better techs are out here.. I rarely have issues with my radios but if I do only certain techs will do what I need done and even open up my radio... that's why I have 3 radios in my truck if one is not performing up to my standards or expectations it'll set it on a shelve in the bunk till i can get it to a tech a real tech that is..... to have the work I request done.... 9 times out of 10 I already know what work I need done....
