Autoshift with clutch, not Ultrashift without.
Will yours shift while on cruise control or will it kick cruise off when it shifts?
When I bought this truck, bobtailing for the test drive was fine but once I hooked to a trailer I noticed it would clunk pretty good when pulling a hill and downshifting. Clunks a little too much all the time for that matter. Also when I enguage cruise control, it will shift when it needs to but it will kick cruise off so I have to hit resume again.
Been like this 2 years, kept waiting for it to blow but it keeps going. Mechanic recently looked at the gears and said they look fantastic.
Clutch is on its last leg so I'll know more soon but just wanted to check and make sure that wasn't normal with these things.
