RockWater has an office in Williston, ND. We currently have more sand work than trucks to do the work. 2 loads per shift = $500.

$500 sign on bonus. Good company paid health insurance. Free Fit Test, H2S & PEC training. I believe they can also get you an OSHA 20 if you don't already have it.

    Rodeorowdy Thanks this.

What kind of trucks/trailers do they use? I drove for Rockwater in Odessa TX and we had some nice Freightliner Coronados.

First sand haulers in ND. (Through merger and acquisition)

They don't have the same trucks as TX RCK does. Primarily Kenworth T800's in ND.

    Do they provide respirators?

Do sandcan Drivers even wear respirators to protect your lungs?

Never used one, don't remember seeing anyone else wear one for sand. I did use them if I was doing a spreader bar CDK\Ash\Cement and had to get out of the cab with product in the air.

    Rodeorowdy Thanks this.

Some frac companies call for them (EOG, ProPetro, in TX and Frac tech in PA) when on location and blowing off. I always bought my own (they are cheap) and whoever i was driving for would buy the filters. It doesn't hurt to at least have a dust mask on.

RCK use to supply respirators and filters to all drivers and thus also supplied fit tests. Not sure if they still do all that or not. Some operators require the respirators therefore the frac crews require them. It's good to use them if actively working around the bins.

Also, how do you think the sandboxes have taken off.... less detention and little need for silica dust protection. Heck of a concept, now only if the rates can pay a guy to haul it.
