Well hell Medicinman I am a rookie, now what are us old rookies suppose to do. That brings up another question, I know we didn't run that trip legal but buy the time I got to boomtown I was too tired to continue to drive, I should have let him have his full eight but then we wouldn't have made the schedule. Of course our comic book told a different story but is that something new, I don't think so. What would you have done differently, said to heck with the schedule, push yourself, or do what we did?

you run what works for you and work out the book later. Just remember who is supposed to be driving when you cross the scales as you need to wake them up to sit in the seat and roll over the scale.
Personally I'd rather be on the road with ya safe rateher then legal. and with the goofy log book laws that isn't the same thing

when my dad and I ran we logged 5 and 5 (this was with the old log book rules, that doesn't work legally anymore) but in reality my dad pretty much ran all day and I ran at night. I was basically his midnight to 6am relef and he ran everything else. He was tough like that though
