Custom Cal couldn't fix my Fluke counter, so they gave me a good deal on a minty HP 5315B counter with 2 channels and the 1 gig option. Calibrated and certified with paperwork for $115 shipped.

Looks like you got a really good deal
delta5 Thanks this. -
Jace379 that is a lab grade frequency counter.
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
What do you do with that.
-
There are several adjustments in a CB radio where you have to measure frequency with a probe. There is a master refference oscillator that generates 10.240 mhz and the phase lock loop circuit adds or subtracts from that to make each channel, instead of rows of crystals. In my DX 959, there are several trimmer pots in the PLL circuit that have to be adjusted using a counter.

Good catch, that's a good counter.
I too had a good catch this weekend.
I ended up being forced to go to an estate sale and got a few things for well ... sort of cheap.
Spent $225 that made my wife yell at me but when she saw the truck's bed full, she didn't say anything other than 'where in the hell are you going to put that junk.bored silly and delta5 Thank this.
