Usually Ky to southern Oh and back. Occasionally to Columbus Oh or the Indy area. I am not afraid of the snow, I am afraid of others in the snow, I did it safely for 30 years but each day is more and more of a challenge with the aggressive and distracted drivers. Throw in the snow and all bets are off. Now that I don't have to do it, I am proud to call myself a fair weather driver, unless I am caught out in it. Drove in snow zero times last season and only one decent snow fall this year. My first bid job at UPS was Louky-Salt Lake (via Denver)-Louky, then Louky-Buffalo-Louky weekly. I don't miss running west of Denver on 70 in the middle of the night one bit, when stopping is not an option unless the road is closed.Last edited: Apr 1, 2017

Million dollar load with a $15k truck. -
That's one load I never care yo haul. Cameros and mustangs were bad enough.

Not
A year or two ago that would have been a nice truck in Ft Wayne or Louisville! Atleat you didn't have an old baby blue PMT rig. -
My buddy had a powder blue one. These flat-top chain trucks were not fun to load on the Vettes. Worked well for van and big trucks out of KTP.Banker Thanks this.

Had to unload and reload this in about a foot of snow. Not fun. -
When the Camaros first came back out and were shipped with those summer tires, I had one I couldn't get reloaded on flat snow pack. I had to lay my tire chains out on the ground to get enough traction to get it back on the truck. Can confirm: Was not a happy camper!

Throw in -5 degrees and all you look like is a Zamboni. I actually had to reload one with those with racing slicks. Just so happened to be about 6 teenage boys on the car lot clearing snow off vehicles. They pushed me right up on that back bottom deck and away I went. The road salt had also melted under my trailer axles while I was unloading the other 6 SUV's so i pulled forward a bit and had a nearly clear spot of pavement.

Ziggy319 Thanks this.
