California the new POE on I-15 did a level 2 on me on my way in with a crane on and they said permit on my iPad was fine, as long as I had all the necessary attachments.

Attachments, saved electronically or hard copy?
-
Attachments were in electronic form, included in the email, but I have since saved them into iBooks->Permits as I do with all permit attachments or Conditions Sheets for future use.
As long as you can produce them, you have them.xsetra Thanks this. -
Local TX driver told me last week he doesn't print permits anymore, that electronic copies were legal.

Did you see that it's dated April 21, 2015?
-
Yeah that's the most recent I found. Just trying to help

I took the liberty to look at the list; used their contact form to suggest they update the list. Informed them that they were referenced to on this page.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I recieved the following from WCS after contacting them about an update to the link referenced above:
The driver was lucky. CA currently does not legally accept electronic permits or provisions. Many officers across the country are relaxing their position even though no legal guidelines have been set in most states. Please proceed with caution in CA.
