Those are tough ones to load regardless. My buddy delivered some in -10 degree weather and 3 sets of Z0's tires ended up just cracking because of the cold..wide son of guns..

This one was a bit of a bugger to back off of my head rack. They couldn't wait to unwrap it.

Banker and Tall Mike Thank this.

The last time I did a load of Vettes. Denver to Vegas and back for a track weekend. Most of them lowered and a couple very high HP. Royal PITA. Clutch stiffer than the one in the truck, paper-thin engagement range, no bottom end. It was fun... ONCE!

The belly car is picked up because it was winter time, didn't want on chips from running across I-70.

You earned your money hauling vettes with 40 portable straps!

Ha! You are right at that! Also had to make sure every one of those dang chains were up and out of the way! I only went into Bowling Green a handful of times, but their yard guy was great to help spot you.

It is hard to believe I left Ft Wayne so soon with this fine ride. They did have two of the best carhaul trainers in the business.

    Hammer166 Thanks this.

Yeah I did a handful of Article 48's out of Ft Wayne and they were always helpful. They did hate having us out of Wentzville because our trucks were even more junk than yours.

If I hadn't been bumped out of this I wouldn't have thought about buying my own rig. Man I am glad I got bumped! Not because of the truck, but because there is nothing like working for myself.

That right there is a heck of a load. I just left in Jan and gave it two years. Back to hauling gas and home every. I loved hauling cars, but Jack Cooper made it frustrating. Made almost $80k there in 10 months though...so the $ was good
